About this deal

The H100i v2 is a great CPU cooler for users who want to keep their components cool and stable. It’s a little more expensive than other options, but the performance it provides makes it worth it. Again we see the new cooler’s Performance mode tying the older cooler’s Quiet mode, but at lower noise levels. That is a big win, folks! And if you’d prefer, you can always switch into Quiet mode, and get excellent results with around the same noise level as the average air cooler. In case you needed any reminder on this point, the older cooler’s noise level at load was simply ridiculous. If you wanted to show off your shiny new build to your friends, its 54.5dB noise level would leave them thinking your PC was on its last legs. There’s no other way to say this: the older H100i sounded broken at load. The Corsair Hydro Series is a good product.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”Is the Corsair H100i v2 RGB?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:” usb sometimes does not recognize CL ...must restarting pc till it fix it. (not worthing to change header, it does not solve anything and may mess it up more) I have 10 PCs. All of them had Corsair coolers and PSUs. Some had Corsair RAM and commander pro's. Of those 10 PCs I had to make 14 cooler replacements over an 3 year period with the coolers failing, typically the pumps.

Is the title that has been screamed from the rooftops: Is the H100i v2 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler really necessary? Is this the replacement to the famous H100i Liquid Cooler? That is something we will soon discover: They need to replace the controller h/w & s/w on the pump unit. Clearly the way it is designed today does not allow it to manage the fans properly or are the LED's reliable or provide a dedicated USB device interface (not a cluedgy HID). The corsair hydro series h100i v2 compatibility is a liquid CPU cooler that can be used in any case. It has the potential to be compatible with almost all motherboards and cases on the market today. IntroductionIf you want i may give the firmware 1.0.4 to you as I have it but trust me...it is really better you stay with 1.0.0 and hope that gurus here are saying the truth. I do that because on ICUE appears a section where it sais that when 45ºC are reached the leds lights of the H100iv2 turn red. In my case, would it be normal exceed 45ºC on the cooler temp without being harmful? If that is it, I would adjust the curve to make it less agressive, so when I play those games it could reach more than 45ºC without the fans being that noisy. Are you having problems with the cooler? If you are not, then there is no reason to flash the cooler to 1.04 or 1.05. Corsair” is one of the most well-known and reputable computer companies today, with a wide variety of goods ranging from power supplies to chassis, cooling, and peripherals. Today we’ll look at one of their newest products, the H100i V2 240mm Liquid CPU cooler, which is claimed to be a replacement. Finally, we illustrate cooling performance faced with the extreme load generated by Intel Burn Test. We don’t think any application will put this much pressure on a CPU, so consider this an absolute worst-case scenario. There may be legitimate or uncontrollable reasons your coolant is at 40C without load, but this is what we need to focus on. For now, you can get around the max speed by creating a custom curve as suggested originally. Those will not jump to 100% when you hit 40. We are (at least I am) reading all that since December 2012 and now they keep saying "in a few weeks".Now that the unit is mounted, we will want to plug in power cables for both of the fans and the pump. The H100i has an integrated 4-fan hub which is where you will want to plug in your H100i fans. You will find two ports on top of the cooling unit, where you can plug in the included fan power adapter cables. Each adapter will support two fans, and by plugging the fans directly into the fan power adapter cable and into the cooling unit, you will be able to monitor and control the H100i fans through the Corsair Link V2 software.

Still noisy at 1200 rpm but way better than the pump managing them. LED's I can live without. The pump noise is now worrying me as the temps seen to rising but will persevere until a fix is available as I need my system. Last year, we put together a comprehensive high-end cooler shootout, which included the original Corsair Hydro H100i. While that cooler offered the highest performance of all the models we tested, we felt that the air coolers we put it up against offered a better balance of temperature and noise. And so we came to our review of the H100i v2 curious how Corsair would tweak the design. Would it just go for ever-higher performance at the expense of noise, or would it re-tune the original H100i to operate with a more reasonable noise profile. It's fairly difficult to keep piling on heat with the fans at maximum, at least from CPU heat. What were you doing at the time? If you heat the case up with the GPU, you might see this. Not related specifically to fan control, but it would be good to figure out if there is something wrong with the cooler. What kind of room and case temperature do you have? When sitting at idle on the desktop, what is the coolant temperature? Does it stay level or slowly creep up? In my past professional role and experience in managing technology products, that list will require a lot of work to fix. They will need to take one of their own fans and try to modify them to work the pump controller. They will try to modify the pump controller - but's an expensive so will focus on a workaround with firmware. The CL is a major re-write. This is another way to do it ... setting the header to PWM mode does supply the constant 12V of power. The PWM signal is ignored. Note: the screenshots below come from Windows 10, and the fixes also work in Windows 8 and Windows 7. In real fact...CL2 is full of bugs...leds..pump...usb issues...fans noise...high temps....sierra has to be restarted if you put your pc in standby.....conflicts with other drivers....and so on. They keep saying a lot of words but at the end of the story CL it is a big mess and the product its self does not match what they advertised.

Is that curve correct? When applying it, the computer works perfectly and it doesnt accelerate as heavily as before. On the desktop and playing non high-performance games, it works properly. But, in high-performance games the temperature keeps rising. Having the 100% rpm to 49ºC, I can stabilize the temp to 43ºC, being that the highest it rise. Nevertheles, I feel that the fans are overaccelerated and makes an unpleasant noise. I also saw that the brand new 110 is coming out with something like 1,xx of air pressure and 94cfm...all against 2 months of useless words said by people apparently appointed by Corsair to reply in this forum. The cooling unit itself has two cables to plug in, a SATA power connector, and a pump sensor cable. The SATA power connector should be connected directly to an available SATA power cable from your PSU, and the 3 pin (with only a single sensor wire) fan connector should be plugged into your CPU fan header on the motherboard. The sensor cable relays pump RPM information to both the BIOS and to the Corsair Link V2 software, and lets your motherboard know that you have a CPU cooler installed.I have a Corsair H100i GTX Cooler. After staying up til 4am (I started getting this issue after a bios update), I figured out what was wrong. The bios pump fan was set to auto.
