In all registers of the frequency response, the Arya conveys very realistic images of the music, with all the subtle nuances in instrument and vocal tones being perfectly textured. Like its older sibling, the Arya is utilizing HiFiMan’s Nanometer Diaphragm and their Asymmetrical Magnetic Circuit to reduce interference in sound wave transmissions with the aim of producing a cleaner sound as a whole. The Arya Stealth drivers also make use of Hifiman’s Advanced Asymmetrical Magnetic Circuit (double sided asymmetrical magnet circuit) to obtain the perfect balance between high driver efficiency and high sound quality.

It seems that the wood implementation and overall design allowed the driver to be moved a couple of millimeters back since the cup seems a few mm thicker than the other Arya models.AMP13 is the tube card and one which I personally enjoy the most though other cards have a bit more power. plug and a jet black woven exterior finish, it’s the perfect complement to the sound and sight of the Arya. It seems the major changes in this release were implemented within the cup housing over the stealth variant. Not too much like the LCD-5 can get for my head and not too loose either that it hands uncomfortably on your ears. For reference, the Harman 2018 bass is substantially elevated - far too much for what I think most audiophiles would consider appropriate, even if some bass heads may like it, so I prefer to use the more modest 2013 bass shelf. You don’t have to worry about harshness at all, but the frequencies definitely have a more dramatic spike to them. The whole pitch is the thickness of the diaphragm which is at a nanometer level in terms of measurements.
