It would be interesting to see what the Hop Marketing Board data on Boddies had to say – but one could imagine that they had kept to the very traditional hop varieties but then the financial pressure forced them to consider the new higher-alpha varieties which were cheaper but Didn’t Taste Like Hops In The Good Old Days.
